AtomicPi Cluster

This is an ongoing project where I take 4 AtomicPi (AP) boards to create a light-weight, low-power Docker Swarm cluster. I am cheating a little bit by using a more powerful LattePanda Alpha 864s as the Docker Swarm leader. The LattePanda (LP) was gifted to me so I made use of it by "beefing up" my cluster a little bit. On the LP I installed CentOS, which is the distribution I am most comfortable with. On the APs I installed Alpine Linux because it is extremely light weight and a popular choice for many Docker containers. All the boards are placed in a custom "rack" that I designed and 3D-printed myself. To keep things compact, I replaced the original AP heatsink with a smaller one. I also added a fan that pushes air through all of the APs.

I have not figured out what to run on the Docker Swarm , yet. One step at a time...
